A little about me.

So this is one of those pages where I am supposed to say, ‘Hey, I’m great and I can do this and I can do that.” Well, this is the Internet, I can write what I want, so it might be a lot of meaningless words and hot air!
What I can assure you of is a strong moral compass and ethos in any dealings I have with people and potential clients – which is honesty and transparency, and the best outcome for all.

My approach to Web Design is built on my belief that teamwork and collaboration is always better and stronger than self-aggrandizement. So when I work on a project with someone, I prefer to do so on the premise that “together, we can build your site and get the best deal for all concerned,” rather than just building a standard website for any old company that has no real feeling or meaning behind it.

Design is subjective. So I’ll get to know my clients and their business, and once we’re comfortable working together, I will become the vehicle for your ideas on how you want to advertise your business on the Internet or in print (or both!) and then build the blocks for successful marketing on the foundation of your ideas.

So, a little bit about myself. I relocated to Cape Town, South Africa in 2008 as my now wife was offered a job there. I retrained as a Web Designer and developer, and suddenly found my niche in life. I moved back to the U.K. in 2018. I now have over 10 years of working with websites, using up-to-date coding, and more than 5 years working deeply with WordPress (which I have to say is my preferred platform for website building). I’ve also worked with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator and since moved over to Affinity Photo and Designer. My design work portfolio includes creation of banners and images for websites, menus, flyers, special occasion cards/packages and all manner of print media.
